Can't seem to figure out how to post the weather where I'M at so I may take this little feature off.....the circular file it will be!

So, that "aunt" I was talking about? She and her friend are going to be my dates to the Pops Concert presented by the Las Vegas Philharmonic @ Green Valley Amphitheater tonight. It sounded like she could use a night out, and I had tix, so there you have it.

My First REAL Blog

Okay, so now that I've thought about this whole concept.....I really think this is going to be great! I just got off the telephone with my "aunt", who is one of my absolute favorite people EVER! She just tried a new psychic and wanted to chat about it. She's got to be in her early 70's and we've become friends over the last 10 years. She's recently lost her husband (ex) and is finding herself looking forward to a totally blank canvas, with which she knows not what to do with :-).

So, during out telephone conversation, I was able to turn her seemingly wasted 15 minutes with the psychic, which was a defeating and discouraging experience, in to a productive and eye opening adventure. Not like I'm super fabulous or tremendously gifted, but I do seem to have a talent for finding the "platinum lining".

You see, even though there inevitably will be posts to this blog that are negative and derogatory, my services go WAY beyond the chair, and in to actual life, which is what really matters after all. I can't speak for all stylists out there, but I actually DO give a shit!
